The Columbia County Veteran's Agency is committed to providing transportation to and from the VA Medical Center in Albany for all County Veterans for medical services. We currently have two (2) vans in service, including a bus which has 16 seats and two (2) wheelchair slots.
Columbia County Veterans Services Agency provides transportation to and from the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY five (5) days a week - Monday through Friday.
There are van stops throughout Columbia County (see van schedule below for times and locations.)
All Columbia County veterans are eligible to receive this free service.
Spouses or other family members may accompany the veteran if space allows.
The van leaves the VA Medical Center for the return trip to Columbia County when the last veteran is ready, but no later than 3:00pm. For this reason, try to schedule your appointments for the morning hours.
